Behind Providence’s elegant facade lies a city haunted by real crimes and restless ghosts. On this true crime–driven ghost tour, you’ll uncover the city’s most chilling murders, deadly scandals, and crimes of passion- and the restless spirits left in their wake. Walk the waterfront where rumrunners met a brutal end in the Black Duck Incident, revisit the courtroom where an innocent man became the last person executed in Rhode Island, and descend into the shadows of Benefit Street, where whispers of a satanic ritual still unsettle even the bravest locals.
This isn’t a night of cheap jump scares- it’s a deep dive into the real history behind Providence’s darkest stories. Every tale comes from archival records, newspaper accounts, and eyewitness testimony, grounding each haunting detail in fact. If you’re fascinated by true crime, unsolved mysteries, and the lingering echoes of lives cut short, this tour delivers an unforgettable look at the sinister side of Providence… and the ghosts history refuses to bury.

We love giving tours to private groups- we find that some of the best bonding experiences happen when a group is learning something new together, or sharing a family-style meal.

We recommend bringing a small flashlight or using a phone light. Some of the streets along the tour route are not well lit, and having a light source will make it easier to see where you’re walking and stay comfortable throughout the experience.
